Graphic Design + illustration= Designistration for Day One New York. Day One has become the primary voice of expertise in New York City on the issue of dating abuse and domestic violence among youth. 

The ‘Know Your Rights’ Guides have evolved to a series of 12, five-panel guides targeted towards young adults ages 16 to 23. Day One’s Know Your Rights Guides were created to educate readers on teen dating abuse and related issues such as consent, stalking, orders of protection, and more.

The goal was to combine design and illustration to help make serious topics as uplifting and supportive as possible while keeping the reader engaged and breaking down large amounts of information into visuals and smaller bites of text.
